Who am I?
Some facts:
- My full name is Lasse Joonas Savolainen
- I was born on 19 September 1980 in Helsinki, Finland.
- I am currently living in central Helsinki, and working as a Web Developer there.
- I have two sisters, Johanna and Juulia, and a brother, Janne. My mother is called Helena and my father's name is Henri.

Music and me
I guess I have always been a musical person. I played classical guitar for a few years when I was little. Then came the puberty, and music stayed in the background. But as I approached the age of 16, my love for making music and the need to express myself became stronger again.
There just hasn't been a moment without music for me since. I am a singer/songwriter, and I also play guitar and piano. The music I make is mostly pop-rock. You can find out more about that from the music page.
And as to the music I listen: anything with emotion. To name a few: John Mayer, Slayer, George Michael, Coldplay, Cradle Of Filth, Björk, Andrea Bocelli, Sting etc...
Other interests
Besides music, I am interested in web programming - particularly creating dynamic web applications using server-side scripting languages such as PHP.
I also play billiards and snooker quite often.
