Who am I?

Some facts:

• My full name is Lasse Joonas Tanner (previously Savolainen)
• I was born on 19 September 1980 in Helsinki, Finland.
• I am currently living in central Helsinki, working as a Web Developer here.
• I am married

Music and me

I guess I have always been a musical person. I played classical guitar for a few years when I was little. Then came the puberty, and music stayed in the background. But as I approached the age of 16, my love for making music and the need to express myself became stronger again.

There just hasn't been a moment without music for me since. I am a singer/songwriter, and I also play guitar and piano. The music I make is mostly pop-rock. You can find out more about that from the music page.

And as to the music I listen: anything with emotion. To name a few: John Mayer, Slayer, George Michael, Coldplay, Cradle Of Filth, Björk, Andrea Bocelli, Sting etc...

Web Development

I love web development as well, and I have been working as a professional web developer since 2002. More info about that can be found from my Curriculum Vitae.

Other interests

Besides music and web development, I am somewhat of a gym rat nowadays, following a powerlifting routine about 3 times a week. Ask for my Jefit routine if you're interested in trying it out. ;)

I also play billiards and snooker, and enjoy fishing in the summer time. I love watching a good movie as well.
